The Monroe Country Farm Bureau and KIIC Radio is sponsoring a Youth in Ag Photo Contest.

This contest is in conjunction with the KIIC Farm Show and Cornbelt Cow-Calf Conference, which is at Bridgeview Center in Ottumwa January 27th and 28th.

This contest, aims to highlight the contributions the youth in agriculture make in the Midwest.

Iowa and Missouri youth, ages 18 years or younger can submit a life photo as it relates to agriculture, and could win $250 for submission.

This contest is open to creative license. Photos could be life on the farm, photo of doing chores, a farm photo, photo of leadership position, or just a photo of operation. If contestant doesn’t live on a farm, but has some form of agriculture impact, they are also eligible. The photo submitted could be abstract, or something more concrete and actual.

Only one photo may be submitted. The entry can be a photo previously taken, but it can not be one that has won any other contest.

Photos will be shown during the KIIC Farm Show on a large screen in the Expo Hall.

Winning photo will become property of KIIC to use in the next year?s Farm Show marketing materials.

Entries must contain the photo, the entrant?s name, age and location, which must be received by January 26th by 5pm. Entries can be emailed to agshow@kiicradio.com as an attachment ? or send as an email link to the repository of the photo.
