Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. -James 4:14

We constantly are asking what time is it. Our whole lives revolve around time, but do we realize just how much time matters? It matters.

To realize the value of one year, ask a student who failed a grade.

To realize the value of one month, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of one week, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of one hour, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of one minute ask a person who just missed a bus.

To realize the value of one second, ask someone who just avoided an accident.

To realize the value of one millisecond, ask the person who won a silver medal at the Olympics.

Friend, treasure every moment that you have! You are not guaranteed that year, that month, that week, that minute, or that second. Your time matters. Are you using those moments wisely? What are you doing with the only time you have?

Prayer: “God, thank you for whispering into my spirit and reminding me that my time matters. Help me to use all of my time for your glory. In your name I pray, Amen!”
