Wyffels Hybrids is excited to announce the promotion of Jacob Wyffels to Vice President of Production. Jacob joined the company six years ago, after graduating from the University of Illinois College of ACES. He has been involved in the business from an early age, gaining extensive experience in all areas of seed production, and advancing to Production Manager in 2017. In his new role, Jacob will lead the Wyffels production team in field and plant operations, quality assurance, and supply fulfillment to ensure corn growers continue to receive top quality hybrids.

Jacob?s promotion comes at a time of significant growth throughout the company, as Wyffels Hybrids continues to focus on the success of corn growers and developing, producing and marketing the best seed corn hybrids in the industry.

?I look forward to continuing to lead our best-in-class production team as we continue to create the best seed corn hybrids you can plant,? Jacob Wyffels said. ?We have a tremendous team here in Atkinson and we look forward to continuing to deliver industry-leading seed quality to ensure our customers are able to maximize the genetic potential of every hybrid they plant.?

Wyffels succeeds his father, Bob Wyffels in this role after being Vice President of Production at Wyffels Hybrids for more than 40 years. Bob Wyffels will remain actively involved with the company?s leadership team, research product advancement team, and with corporate strategy and ownership responsibilities.

?This is more than a promotion; it is a generational transfer of the spirit and values that this company was founded on,? said Bob Wyffels. ?I’m confident that the dedication, drive, and pursuit of quality seed is at the heart of Jacob’s aspiration.?
