Wet conditions have north-central Iowa behind schedule

We are continuing our check of crop conditions around Iowa. We have heard about conditions where they are getting timely rains and where they are experiencing mild drought. Now we are going to see what is going on in the saturated parts of North Central Iowa.

Angela Rieck-Hinz, an Iowa State University Extension agronomist says the north-central region of Iowa has been wet since April.

Rieck-Hinz says crop conditions in her region are, ?all over the board.?

The slow starts caused by saturated grounds have put the north-central region behind the eight ball on everything.
