Weekly export sales were soft across the board for the week ending April 8th.

The U.S. Export Sales Report on Thursday showed old crop corn sales bearish at 327,700 metric tons and new crop at 52,600 tons with some cancellations noted. Allendale broker Greg McBride says old crop sales were low all around the complex.

While the report was mostly bearish this week, McBride says it didn?t come as a surprise.

McBride?s advice to growers moving ahead is to monitor their local weather forecasts.

The next U.S. Export Sales Report will be released on Thursday, April 22nd.
