by | Jun 10, 2022 | 5 Ag Stories, News

This week?s U.S. Export Sales Report was neutral overall, but still contained some interesting surprises. One of the biggest surprises was the continuation of old crop sales, which isn?t something we usually see at this time of year. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said that could be due to the issues Brazil faced earlier this year.

There was also a flash sale of new crop beans to unknown. McBride said this is the time of year where we start to shift over mostly to new crop sales.

This report also had some other surprises outside of the corn and soybean numbers. McBride said the wheat numbers looked a bit more bullish than they actually were.

McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers.
