It?s been a couple weeks since we?ve taken a look at the U.S. Export Sales Report, but we?re still seeing neutral numbers. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said it was mostly just another ho-hum report.
We?ve also been seeing some consistent demand in flash sales, but McBride said the volume of those sales has been less than stellar.
Now that we?re a few weeks out from harvest, the export scene should be shifting. McBride said this is the prime time for soybean sales, and corn should start picking up soon as well.
McBride also provided some advice for Iowa producers on what to pay attention to in the current market landscape.
