U.S. dairy industry awaits USMCA ratification

Vilsack argues, ?For the dairy industry, more so than any other aspect of American agriculture, there are direct benefits,? from the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which still awaits final ratification. He shares how the revised agreement will aid United States dairy producers.

Vilsack shares the U.S. dairy farmers hopes to see a finalized agreement by year-end, in hopes of avoiding the political ramifications of a presidential election in 2020.
