The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), minus the United States, moved to full ratification last year. Now, several countries have a lower tariff in Japan than our beef exports.
However, the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF), says the industry has managed to continue to perform exceptionally well in the Japanese market, all things considered.
