So why was NASA located on the trade show floor at this year?s event in Orlando Florida? Brad Doorn a program manager with NASA?s earth science division says that was a popular question.

Doorn says that improvements in technology have made NASA?s data and technology much more applicable and accessible for farmers today than it would have been previously.

Doorn says that advancements in technology have also made it possible for NASA to gather data and information at a more local level than previously possible.

Brad Doorn says that if he runs into a problem or has a question that he cannot answer, he has resources available to him from NASA to help find the answer.

He says advancements in technology make data gathering more efficient and effective, but they also allow users more ability to analyze the data.

Farmers, ranchers, and producers are encouraged to engage with the NASA acres program for more information and to utilize NASA?s services.
