The Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network had a chance to visit with Jackie Applegate, president of Bayer crop science North America, at the Farm Progress show earlier this month to discuss innovations in the Bayer line-up.
The Bayer product line is always attempting to improve efficiency for farmers and increase yield. Jackie Applegate says that happens only by attempting to make improvements each season.
Applegate says that while in the past some farmers may have shied away from technology being added into a farmer’s toolkit, she says that’s just not possible today.
Applegate also says that Bayer is very involved in giving back to farming communities with the America’s farmers program.
