Who made the great lights. His love endures forever. The sun to govern the day, His love endures forever. -Psalm 136:7-8
Lately, it’s been really cloudy, foggy, snowy, and dreary. Honestly, it’s been kind of depressing weather.
I honestly can’t remember the last time the sun was shining. I love the sun, so this is a really hard season for me.
Sometimes life, circumstances, and your relationship with the Lord can feel like the current weather outside. Sometimes, you just feel like you’re in a really hard season, that seems to be dragging along.
Life feels heavy, cloudy, and dreary. You aren’t even sure what the happiness looks like, or even if it will ever be back again.
You haven’t seen God work, and you feel as if He’s unable to be seen anymore.
Friend, know that just because you don’t always see the Lord, doesn’t mean He isn’t there, and isn’t working.
Trust today that His love endures forever, even if you can’t see it at the moment.
The sun will shine again!
Prayer: “God, thank you for shining through the foggiest of situations. Help me to know that you are with me, even if I can’t always see you. In your name I pray, Amen.”
