The Iowa Hunger Summit will take place again in October in Des Moines.

The 2017 Iowa Hunger Summit will be held Monday, October 16 at the Downtown Des Moines Marriott Hotel. The program is intended to share information about the many outstanding efforts of Iowans toward ensuring adequate food for all, encourage Iowans to continue and expand these efforts, increase statewide awareness of hunger, poverty and related issues, and celebrate the leadership of key Iowa hunger fighters with the presentation of the Iowa SHARES Humanitarian Award.

The Summit is free and open to the public. All participants must register for the event and present their ticket at the door. Registration is now available at www.iowahungersummit.org/hsregister.
