Star Energy FS has joined the ranks of companies putting in a habitat to help the monarch butterflies migrating through Iowa. Jeff Manthei said originally, they were just looking to save some money on lawn maintenance.
Manthei said that Star Energy FS believes we need a balanced environment.
Star Energy has started with four sites, with options for expansion.
Manthei says monarch refueling stations are a perfect opportunity to educate the public.
