Smart Ag hopes to fully commercialize AutoCart in 2020

Smart Ag, based out of Ames, Iowa, hopes to fully commercialize AutoCart, a software system to monitor and control a farmer’s autonomous grain cart, next spring.

Ken Root spoke to Justin Heath, with Smart Ag, at Commodity Classic in Orlando. The two reviewed improvements made to the system over the past year. They also discussed the agriculture community’s perception of robotics within a farm operation.
