Singing the Praises of the Past seven years of leadership from the U.S. Department of Agriculture

Listen Here: Profit Matters 6-3-16

An Iowan, Tom Vilsack, has led the USDA for the entire two terms of President Obama. There have been quite a few changes at lower cabinet levels. One of the rising stars of USDA is Michael Scuse, formerly head of the Farm Service Administration and now Deputy Secretary of Agriculture. He spoke to farm broadcasters in Washington last month. Scuse says, “Over the last seven years we have worked very hard to provide leadership on food agriculture, natural resources, world development, nutrition, and all the other issues based on public policy.” Scuse explains, “We base those on the best science available, as well as effective management.”
