Senator Grassley updated agriculture reporters on multiple topics on his weekly press conference. On the upcoming Farm Bill debate, Grassley says he will fight for his subsidy reforms even if he isn?t on the conference committee.
Grassley says he is going to be sitting down with Acting Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Andrew Wheeler.
When talking about trade, Grassley said that he was pleased with the agreements with the European Union. Grassley also said he has heard rumors the North American Free Trade Agreement could be settled in the coming weeks.
