Senator Grassley discusses lame duck session

The elections have passed. There will be a change in power as the House of Representatives will be controlled by the Democrats in the next Congress. There is still work to be done in a lame duck session.

Senator Chuck Grassley says work can still be accomplished during a lame duck session of Congress. One of those areas was the Farm Bill. Grassley says farmers need to have five years of clarity, not just the one year an extension would provide.

Grassley also brought up the need for getting the Tax Extenders Bill done. This is of great importance for biofuels such as biodiesel or cellulosic fuels.
