Senate Ag to vote on Perdue Wednesday

Senate Agriculture Committee members could vote to confirm USDA Secretary nominee Sonny Perdue as early as tomorrow.

U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, R-Kan., Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, says the committee will hold a business meeting to vote whether to favorably report the nomination of Governor Sonny Perdue to be the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture to the full Senate Wednesday.

The time of the meeting depends on the voting schedule for the day which will be released sometime early Wednesday morning.
