Pivot Bio has announced the launch of its 2023 N-OVATOR? program, an annual nitrogen credit program which rewards growers financially for reducing their on farm emissions by using Pivot Bio?s microbial nitrogen. The program?s full launch comes on the heels of the announcement of results from the 2022 pilot program.

The 2022 N-OVATOR? pilot program from Pivot Bio, encouraged growers to replace synthetic fertilizer with a new nitrogen source in the form of Pivot Bio?s PROVEN? 40 microbial nitrogen. According to the study on average, growers replaced 36 pounds of synthetic fertilizer per acre and maintained yield says Lori Reese environmental programs manager at Pivot Bio.

Reese says the positive results from the study have led to a full rollout of the program in 2023.

The 2023 N-OVATOR? program, offers a $2 per acre incentive for growers.

Reese says growers were receptive to the program because of its multiple benefits.

Pivot Bio says the N-OVATOR pilot program documented real-world replacement of synthetic fertilizer on U.S. farms in 2022. Growers replaced nearly 12,000 tons with Pivot Bio?s microbial nitrogen.
