Propane supply weathering demand and export markets

The United States is the largest producer of propane in the world. So, it goes without saying we are the largest exporter of propane. Just ahead of the winter heating season, how are the markets for the fuel reacting to tariffs, and is demand affected by the wet harvest season?

Dennis St. Aubin of CHS Propane says production is well ahead of domestic demand. With China?s presence limited in the propane market, other buyers are emerging.

This means little to no impact for U.S. propane prices.

St. Aubin says the wet weather at harvest has increased demand marginally but has had little effect on supply.
