All eyes are on the corn belt states, this week, as the Pro Farmer Midwest Crop tour kicks off. A week and a half removed from the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, boots will be on the ground across the Midwest.
Wilson says the tour will collect as many samples from the seven states as USDA does from the ten they use in the production estimates.
Wilson says this tour is going to be watched very closely by the markets. You may see fluctuation as the day goes on, especially if early tweets from the field differ from the day-end results.
The tour is sponsored by Pioneer. Follow online at ProFarmer.com and see what some of the scouts are seeing by following along on Twitter with #PFTour18 (hashtag PF Tour 18).
