I have been in my native state of Oklahoma these past few days. The soil is red and thin and the wind blows most of the time, alternating from north to south.
It is a place of extremes, but the farmers here are much like those I know in Iowa and across the country. They can handle about any known foe. However, there are times they could use some help on the front end of a natural disaster.
All homeowners and landowners must have a plan for something that comes along and tries to take you out. With the help of AARP, we will talk about it in a moment. Just good sense advice as I see it, in case something happens.
