DES MOINES, Iowa – Last year the family-owned Beck’s Hybrids purchased a former DuPont Pioneer production facility in Mount Pleasant, in eastern Iowa. The 62-acre site is in Henry County, and marks the beginning of Beck’s Hybrids’ Iowa offerings.
After an open house at the facility in January, Becks Hybrids Central Illinois Practical Farm Research Director Jason Webster spoke with Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network Reporter Brandon Blue spoke nitrogen utilization, row spacing, dual-hybrid planting, fungicide practicality and more.
