If one good thing can come from the trade wars and tariffs, it has been the light being shone on American farmers and the tough times they are facing. Make no mistake, there are still those out there who wish to paint all agriculture in a poor light. We must remain vigilant.

United States Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue reminds farmers to be always ready to tell their story. There are plenty of others who work daily, portraying farmers negatively.

Perdue reminded the audience in eastern Washington how the system works. ?When people are starving, they have one problem. When people are not starving, they have many problems.?

Secretary Perdue praised farmers for giving people nothing to worry about.
