The year will be coming to a close soon, which means that it?s a good time to reflect on the success of 2022. This isn?t just true for farmers and producers, though- even ag industry leaders will be taking the time to reflect. Eric Miller, NK Seeds soybean product manager, said they saw industry-leading growth for the second year in a row.
2022 was a year marked by black swan events, including a record drought. Miller said that their Field Forged series was able to handle those drought issues very well.
Miller added that the strict standards for the Field Forged series make them a truly reliable seed lineup.
That consistency, Miller said, is what producers have been most pleased with.
With all of the issues we had to overcome this year, there are plenty of lessons to learn. Miller said that early planting is a strategy that more producers can use to increase yields.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Miller said they?re thankful for the farmers who have allowed them to see industry-leading growth.
