In January, NCBA elected Jennifer Houston, a cattle producer and sale barn operator from Tennessee, to be their president.
Ms. Houston is not the first woman to head the NCBA and she?s no rookie when it comes to issues facing the cattle industry.
Houston says Animal ID is a big deal right now and has to be addressed.
She described the mood of the industry.
