The Fendt 200 Vario series tractor was introduced to North America in early 2023 and brings more options to farmers and their operations. David Soliday a senior marketing manager for Fendt tractors says that the 200 series offers a lot of versatility for farmers.
The 200 series tractor comes with the Fendt CVT transmission which is standard on all Fendt tractors. The CVT transmission is designed to optimizes engine power and fuel economy. Soliday says that the 200 series comes in 4 different models.
The Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network spoke to David Soliday at the Fendt exhibit at Commodity Classic in Orlando Florida last week. Soliday says that at a show like Commodity Classic, he always gets comments from farmers who are surprised and impressed by the Fendt CVT transmission.
All Fendt wheel tractors come with the same operating system that allows users to customize settings and have those settings available for the next use with the touch of a button.
