NCBA wants Japanese trade agreement soon

Japan imports one quarter of United States Beef exports.

Even with a Japanese tariff, that is almost 40-percent.

The U.S. cattle industry fears competition as other beef exporting countries have signed trade treaties with Japan or are finalizing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, which excludes the United States.

Make haste is the plea from the National Cattlemen?s Beef Association (NCBA).
