Beef exports bring a sizable increase to the bottom line for United States cattle producers. We want more sales of beef to potentially large customers around the world. China is the largest market that is virtually untapped by U.S. cattle producers.

A year ago, China finally let United States Beef into their grocery stores and restaurants. Growth since then has been slow, but promising. However, the trade war with China may shut off beef to a market that seemed to be going our way.
