Mother Nature not getting her act together

After 2018, we all hoped Mother Nature would come to her senses in 2019. So far, this hasn?t been the case. Wet and cool conditions have been slowing progress not only in the Midwest but in many areas in the country. What will this mean for planting progress?

When it comes to the analysis of how the weather is affecting agriculture, there are few better than Meteorologist Bryce Anderson with DTN. Anderson says there are just so many factors working against us in the Upper Midwest.

Again, it isn?t just affecting us. The Southern Plains have been dealt an interesting hand as well.

However, there are some locations in the United States making progress.

The only thing we know with any certainty in the weather is that nothing is certain. 2019 will just have to play out according to a higher power?s plan.
