If you’re anything like me, you feel like a complete mess and are far from having your stuff together.
If you do have your mess/stuff together you feel completely ordinary for God to use you.
However, the Lord has been reminding me that we don’t have to have our stuff together to love and serve Him.
Jesus constantly recruited everyday people to change the course of history.
Jesus wasn’t interested in creating pharisee’s who had it all together. He was interested in people who were a little rough around the edges, but were willing to be faithful and follow.
So be a mess, who comes to God with your mess. Bring your stuff and your rough, and watch God be God and do something extraordinary in your seemingly ordinary.
Prayer: “God, thank you for loving me in my mess, my stuff, and my ordinary. Thank you for taking the things in my life that seem boring or burdensome and creating a masterpiece. Help me to let you use me. In your name I pray, Amen.”
