Last weekend in Ames, the Iowa Cattlemen?s Association helped host a Beef Quality Assurance meeting. During the meeting, I had the chance to meet the Cattlemen?s summer Policy Intern, Emily Saeugling.

Saeugling talks about how she got started in the Ag industry and how she became involved in cattle.
It isn?t just agriculture that fascinates her, she really has developed an interest in policy work.
Saeugling says she is really inspired how an organization like the Cattlemen can take the input of members from all over the state and go to bat for them, so producers can concentrate on taking care of their businesses.
