United States cattle producers head to New Orleans, Louisiana this week for the Cattle Industry Convention & National Cattlemen?s Beef Association (NCBA) Trade Show. The trade show portion will showcase some of the best and newest innovation, benefitting cattle producers.
Damon Palmer serves as U.S. business leader for pasture and land management for Corteva Agriscience. Palmer says Corteva Agriscience looks forward to participating in this week?s NCBA Trade Show. A lot of has happened since last year?s show.
?A year ago, we were still operating under the Agriculture division of DowDuPont?. We had not introduced the new name,? Palmer said. ?We?re excited to do that and talk to producers about the fact that everything they?ve enjoyed, the service and products they?ve gotten from Dow Agrosciences, are still delivered, as well as some new innovative products in the pipeline.?
Corteva Agriscience, the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont?, brings together DuPont Crop Protection, DuPont Pioneer and Dow AgroSciences. Palmers wants cattle producers to know the integrated company remains dedicated and focused to pasture management.
?That is a key differentiator, as we go forward. There?s a lot of similarities across the country when you look at rangeland and pasture management, but it?s also very local. It?s almost a ranch by ranch discussion of what a landowner?s objective is for maximizing forages, or controlling brush or weeds,? Palmer said. ?We bring local expertise along strategic business partners and retailers to help deliver those solutions.
Corteva Agriscience also plans to promote its Range & Pasture products at the 2019 NCBA Trade Show. The Range & Pasture portfolio encompasses three flagship brands, serving the broad pasture market. It also features several brands, which cater to specific geographics. Damon highlights a couple Range & Pasture products to be featured at this week?s show.
