Grain markets had a mixed reaction to the latest round of USDA reports on Wednesday.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture released its January 2022 WASDE report along with the Quarterly Grain Stocks report. Bill Moore, senior account executive with PRICE Futures Group, explains how things unfolded when the reports were released at 11 a.m. Central Time.
Corn stocks were up three percent from December 2020, soybean stocks up seven percent, and all wheat stocks were down 18 percent. Moore talks about how the markets reacted to the reports.
