Mandatory COOL rises again

The Organization for Competitive Markets (OCM) accused the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) of taking Beef Checkoff dollars and using them to advance their policy agenda.

In a statement released by the Organization for Competitive Markets, it was implied that the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association uses these funds to “build their influence to push pro-packer policies.”

The new Chief Executive Officer of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Colin Woodall, says it is time for cattle producers to stand up against a front for the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).
