History of the Station:
KCHE AM 1440 began March 1953 by Sioux Valley Broadcasting Co at it’s current location 201 South 5th Street in Cherokee.
KCHE FM 92.1 first began in May 1977 to John O’ Connor who sold both to Jeff Fuller and J & J Broadcasting in 2003. In 2016, it was sold to his son Simon.
