We ran a story earlier this week meat grown in a laboratory setting. This new invention may become an alternative source of protein in the future.
It is feasible to do so now, but it is very expensive. This laboratory, cultured meat product may attract those who do not want to be associated with the killing of animals for meat, but still like the product.
The industry promoting it is calling the product ?clean meat.? The name concerns a lot of people, including former United State Secretary of Agriculture John Block.
