Iowa State Extension to host Women in Agriculture Conference

Iowa State will host the Women in Agriculture Conference to be held at the Washington County fairgrounds in southeast Iowa on March 25th.

The conference is from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is hosted by Washington County Extension and Outreach, along with the Washington Women in Agriculture Advisory Board.

Keynote speaker Jolene Brown from West Branch, is a farmer, author and professional speaker. She says she is on a mission to share leading-edge best practices, appreciation, laughter and celebration to increase productivity, profitability and peace of mind.

Wendy Wintersteenean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University, will be joining conference attendees for lunch to share her personal experiences of being a woman in agriculture.
