An Iowan nominated to serve on the Farm Credit Administration Board gets one step closer to serving. The Senate Ag Committee voted Thursday to favorably report nominee Glen R. Smith.

?The Senate Agriculture Committee has acted in a bipartisan fashion on each nomination we have received,? Roberts and Stabenow say. ?We are pleased to send Glen Smith, a qualified nominee for the Farm Credit Administration Board, to the full Senate for confirmation.?

Smith may now be considered by the full U.S. Senate for confirmation.
