In 2015, Iowa produced 2.5 billion of 13.6 billion bushels of corn grown in the U.S. It’s Iowa Corn Day at the Iowa State Fair. Kurt Hora is the Vice President of Iowa Corn.

He says they have a new mobile education center at the fair this year.

“Corn is a huge part of the Iowa economy and we want to showcase what we do in the state. All the products that we are in. It is very important for us as corn farmers to get our story out there tell people the importance of it.”

Hora will become the new Iowa Corn president in September.

Iowa Corn’s booth is located on the grand concourse at the fairgrounds.
