Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley held his weekly agriculture press conference on Tuesday Morning. He talked of a way to save money with the 2018 Farm Bill.

Senator Grassley talked about a Government Accountability Office (GAO) study that highlighted the subsidy payments under the 2014 Farm Bill. Grassley talked about a ?glaring loophole? allowing non-farm workers to collect payments.

Grassley said the recently failed House version of the 2018 Farm Bill makes the loophole even bigger, and it doesn?t make financial sense to grant these subsidies to non-farmers.
