The price of global crude oil fell this week on the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) by $.31 per barrel over last week, closing at $101.28. Brent crude oil fell $1.19 this week, currently at $108.01. One year ago WTI crude sold for $93.46 and Brent crude was at $101.53.
As of Tuesday, April 29th, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $3.59 across Iowa according to AAA. This is down a penny from last week and up $.19 from one year ago. The national average on Tuesday was $3.69, up $.02 from last week’s price.
