The FFA is the premier organization for educating our high school and college kids in agriculture and the industries that support the agriculture sector. Not only does the FFA provide this education, but it also helps to provide the tools necessary for our young people to be able to succeed at the next level of life and beyond. But they cannot accomplish this without your support.
The Iowa FFA is growing by leaps and bounds. Bryon Weesner is with the Iowa FFA Foundation. He tells us about the growth they are seeing and the challenges it brings about. For instance, just making sure every member has one of those iconic blue corduroy jackets is a challenge itself.
To that end, they work through events like the Black Ties and Blue Jackets Gala and the Corduroy Club. The later is used to help provide those jackets to students who need them.
The Black Ties and Blue Jackets Gala promises to have a wonderful evening of celebration, entertainment, and support for the FFA.
