Audio: Josh Remington, Iowa FFA Foundation Interview

I had the chance to talk with Josh Remington with the Iowa FFA Foundation. He tells us the FFA continues to strengthen in Iowa. There are four chapters ready to start operations this fall.

Remington says kids are realizing FFA can prepare them for careers that aren?t just in a tractor.

The Foundation is gearing up for their annual gala event, as well as supporting FFA through their new ?Corduroy Club.?

Producers can also support the FFA through a new voluntary checkoff program which will donate one-tenth of one cent per bushel of grain to the FFA Foundation. In round figures, one dollar per semi-load of corn or soybeans could go to help grow agricultural education in Iowa.
