Iowa Farm Bureau hopes to spread the word about water quality and conservation practices of farmers at this year?s fair.

Andrew Wheeler with the Iowa Farm Bureau says they have a lot of activities for members and fairgoes.

?We?re focusing on conservation and highlighting the great things farmers are doing. We are also connecting consumers with farmers, the folks that grow and raise their food because a lot of the consumers in Iowa may not interact with farmers on a day to day basis. This might be the only time for them to do that.?

Wheeler says they can ask questions about food production or any other questions.

?We have a game where you can learn a little bit about conservation at the game operators are farmers so folks can ask them questions about what they do on their farms but they?re also experts.?
