The Iowa Corn 300 takes place at Iowa Speedway in Newton Sunday. The race is sponsored by the Iowa Corn Growers Association and the Iowa Corn Promotion Board. Iowa Corn President Bob Hemesath says the race is a great way for folks to learn about ethanol and interact with Iowa Corn members.

?With over 1,500 ICGA members typically attending the race, and a full house at the track, this event is a great place to connect with people from across the state. We have an even larger audience tuning in from across the nation and world. This year, U.S. Congressman Dave Loebsack (D-District 2) and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey will also be joining us. Promoting Iowa Corn, celebrating homegrown ethanol, and educating consumers are all accomplished with this one great event.?

The new Iowa Corn Mobile Education Center will also be unveiled at Sunday’s race.
