An Iowa community college grabs top spot in Dairy Cattle Judging Contest at World Dairy Expo.

Northeast Iowa Community College captured top honors with the overall team title and second place in team reasons at the International Post-Secondary Dairy Cattle Judging Contest.

Megan Kregel is a coach for the team.

?Our team members Ellis Frank from New Richmond, WI; Aaron Houdek from Caledonia, MN; Chelsey Jensen from Amery, WI; and Carley Vinklemeier from Norwood, MN; did a fantastic job. All four team members were American so it?s just fantastic honors for them. We?re really excited to be national dairy judging champions and couldn?t be prouder of what those students have accomplished.?

The team placed first out of ten teams followed by Kaskaskia College in second and Michigan State University placing third.
