Former “The Bachelor” star Chris Soules has been charged in an alleged hit and run.

According to the Associated Press, authorities arrested Soules after witnesses claim he fled the scene of a deadly traffic accident near Aurora Monday night.

The Iowa State Patrol reports a pickup truck rear-ended a tractor on a County Highway 45, about 15 miles south of Soules’ farm in Arlington in Buchanan County. Both vehicles hit a ditch and 66-year-old Keneth Mosher of Aurora died.

The county jail says 35-year-old Soules was booked early Tuesday morning on a charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident. KWWL reports Soules bond was set at $10,000 during a court appearance.

Court records show Soules was convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated in 2006.

He starred on season 19 of the ABC reality show in 2015.
