We have heard it said time and time again that Farmers are the pioneers of environmental issues. They are doing what they can to protect their soil and water, so the family farm remains viable for years to come. They are finding new ways to grow more food on fewer acres, in a more responsible way. Carbon sequestration and carbon markets are newer tools that producers are using. Farmers are being bombarded with carbon market info, and it can all be confusing. That is why the folks at Indigo Ag are doing what they can to make the options easy for Iowa producers.

Ryan Stockwell is Senior Manager of Grower & Partner Advocacy with Indigo Ag. He talks about the programs and practices that are available in carbon market programs. He also highlights what Indigo Ag can do to make sure producers are doing what will work best for their operation.

Stockwell talks about the benefits of working with Indigo Ag for both sellers and buyers of carbon credits.

Indigo has a large amount of Iowa acres already enrolled in its carbon credit program.
